Climate Week NE 2023

Udny Climate Action is organising the following-

KID’S REUSE COMPETITION– Make something imaginative from waste. See the video and encourage your kids to be creative- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PObQlK_1oe4 Three age groups 1) pre-school 2) P1-3 3) P4-7. PRIZES. Submit entries to The Medan Centre, Oldmeldrum Road, Pitmedden by close of play Friday 24 March. Entry is free. Prize giving will be in The Medan Centre (Quarry Room) on Tuesday 28 March, 3.30pm (during Open Doors), everyone welcome all children to be accompanied by an adult. 

TREE PLANTING– help us plant trees donated by the Woodland Trust and check those that we planted in previous years. Saturday 25th March. Email us for final arrangements- climate_action@admin@climate_action_admin

WINE, SNACKS AND CLIMATE ACTION! – joins us for an informal evening on Friday 31st March (7-15pm in the Quarry Room, The Medan Centre, Oldmeldrum Road, Pitmedden). Hear what we have done, see the video, help us up our game by telling us what we should do and how Udny can get to zero carbon. Entry free. SWAP SHOP (and Cafe)- Sunday 2nd April 10am to 3pm at the Medan Centre, Oldmeldrum Road, Pitmedden. Pick up a bargain, recycle your unwanted stuff. Drop off goods at the Medan Centre garage on the Fiday or Saturday beforehand (8-30am to 3-30pm or on the day).
