Fit is Retrofit? booklet
The Fit is Retrofit? project explored the views of five householders in Udny who were provided with whole house retrofit assessments by Udny Climate Action in 2024. The householders shared their views on
-why they wanted their houses to be assessed.
-what they felt about the options, identified in their assessments, for improving the insulation and fabric of their homes and the possibility of changing to renewable energy heating systems.
-the benefits and challenges which the options in their assessments presented.
The householders’ views, along with the background to the project, the role of Retrofit Assessors and Co-ordinators and the grants and loans available for upgrading domestic properties and the installation of heat pumps are described in this booklet-
